Hallyu stars Kwon Sang-woo and Song Hye-kyo will attend Hong Kong’s biggest film festival this weekend. The two Korean stars were invited to attend the event 26th Hong Kong Film Awards, which opens on the 15th.The two stars will introduce the “Best Asian Film” category, which includes 4 movies from China, Japan and Singapore as well as the Korean film “괴물/Gwoemul” also known as “The Host,” directed by Bong Joon-ho. Song Hye-kyo is said to be excited to be able to meet her Hong Kong fans. Song was recently in China to promote “Full House,” the popular drama co-starring Rain. Her eagerly-anticipated film “Hwang Jin-yi” (an adaptation of the popular drama starring Han Ji-won) is set for release in June.The 26th Hong Kong Film Awards is often referred to as the Hong Kong Academy Awards and will also be attended by international and Chinese film stars, including Gong Li, Jet Li and Aaron Kwok Fusing.
